Escape You. And You. And You Too. — The Gym Bag by M.V.K.
Escape you. And you. And you too.
Oh God. Let me get far away from these horrible people with no morals and no ethics.
Pack the bag. Walk out the door. Go somewhere they cannot follow.
The Ones Who Won't Leave You Alone
There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from people who make it their business to be in your business. Who show up where you are. Who watch, and follow, and disrupt, and make it feel like there is no space in your own life that belongs only to you. Who have no ethics, no boundaries, and no apparent purpose except to make your existence harder than it needs to be.
You cannot reason with them. You cannot shame them. You cannot make them understand what they are doing because they already know and they do not care. The only move available to you is the one they cannot control: you leave.
You pack this bag. You walk out the door. You go somewhere that belongs to you and not to them.
The Gym Is Yours
The gym. The studio. The street at 6am before the world wakes up. The places where the work is physical and the mind goes quiet and the only thing that exists is your body doing what it was built to do. These are the spaces that cannot be infiltrated by people who operate in noise and chaos — because those people do not do the work. They watch people who do.
When you walk through that door with this bag on your shoulder, you have already won. You chose movement over paralysis. You chose your own space over the suffocating presence of people who want to take it from you. That is not a small victory. On some days, that is the only victory available — and it is enough.
Leave the Room
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is leave the room. Not in defeat — in refusal. Refusal to let them have your energy, your attention, your presence. You take those things with you when you go. In this bag. On your shoulder. With your head high.
They do not get to follow you here.
Pack it. Go.
