1. Introduction

These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of goods from Le Van Kamp Studio, operated by Merete Van Kamp, based in France. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

2. Order Acceptance

Your receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of your order. Le Van Kamp Studio reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at any time, including after confirmation, for reasons including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product description, or suspected fraud.

3. Pricing & VAT

All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by law. Prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy; however, in the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout. If payment is declined or not received, the order will not be processed and no ownership of goods is transferred.

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and French consumer law (Code de la consommation), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within this 14-day period by contacting us at info@thevankampstudio.com. You must return the item(s) within 14 days of notifying us. Return shipping costs are at your expense unless the item is defective or incorrectly sent.

Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made, personalised, or sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery for hygiene reasons.

6. Returns & Refunds

Items may be returned within 30 days of receipt. To be eligible, items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition with all tags attached. To initiate a return, contact us at info@thevankampstudio.com.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

7. Shipping

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Le Van Kamp Studio is not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.

8. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at info@thevankampstudio.com. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs, in accordance with your statutory rights.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Le Van Kamp Studio's liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) in question. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
