When I enter the zone I lose myself.

I give in to the creative forces and let them flow through me. And it is like something bigger than me starts to carry me. Into a state of bliss. Pure creation.

I am not doing it anymore. It is doing me. The work moves through my hands, through my body, through whatever I am in that moment — and I am just the vessel. Just the open channel. Just the one who said yes.

The zone is not something you force. You cannot think your way in. You can only prepare, and show up, and then — let go. Release the grip. Stop trying to be brilliant and just be present. And then, if you are lucky, if you are ready, something shifts. The noise falls away. Time disappears. And you are carried.

Pure creation. That is the only way I know how to describe it. The feeling of making something that did not exist before. Of being the place where an idea becomes real. Of being chosen by the work. Of creating not alone but with the universe — the forces beyond, the ones that move through you when you are open enough to let them.
